Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Harbour Tiling website and any services provided by Harbour Tiling (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Services
Harbour Tiling provides professional tiling services in Sydney and the Ryde NSW area, including but not limited to:
- Bathroom tiling
- Kitchen tiling
- Floor and wall tiling
- Pool tiling
- Outdoor patio tiling
- Waterproofing coordination
All services are subject to a site inspection and written quotation prior to commencement.
2. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Quotations are based on the scope of work discussed and visible conditions at the time of inspection.
- Additional costs may apply if hidden defects, structural issues, or changes to the original scope are identified after work commences.
- Payment terms will be outlined in the quotation or service agreement.
3. Bookings and Scheduling
- Work schedules are confirmed in writing (email or text).
- We endeavour to meet agreed timelines, but delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen site conditions.
- We will communicate any changes to the schedule as soon as reasonably practicable.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure access to the work area on the agreed date and time.
- Clear the work area of personal belongings and obstructions prior to commencement.
- For apartment and strata properties, arrange any required lift bookings, access permits, and notify building management as needed.
- Provide accurate information about the property, including any known issues with waterproofing, substrate condition, or previous work.
5. Materials and Workmanship
- Unless otherwise agreed, materials will be sourced by us based on the project requirements.
- If you supply your own tiles or materials, we are not responsible for defects, shortages, or unsuitability of supplied items.
- Our workmanship is guaranteed for the period specified in your quotation or service agreement.
6. Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required prior to commencement of work.
- Progress payments may apply for larger projects.
- Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise specified.
- Overdue invoices may incur interest at the rate permitted by law.
7. Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start date.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
- Non-refundable deposits (if applicable) will be outlined in the quotation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the defective service or refunding the relevant portion of the fee paid.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, structural issues, or conditions not disclosed prior to commencement.
9. Insurance
We maintain appropriate insurance for residential tiling work. Evidence of insurance is available upon request.
10. Disputes
If you have a concern about our work:
- Contact us in writing within 7 days of completing the work.
- We will inspect the work and discuss resolution options.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to the relevant consumer protection authority or tribunal.

12. Changes to Terms
